Message from the Chief

The Pasadena Police Department and its members exist to ensure Community members, visitors, and businesses enjoy professional, effective, and efficient policing services that display the highest in public safety service  virtues. We are committed to active community engagement and a fair, firm, and consistent approach to impacting crime and other quality of life issues in the City of Pasadena. We will strive to anticipate Community needs, while exceeding expectations.  Adhering to the pillars of “21st Century Policing,’”  we will operate in partnership with Pasadenians in a thoughtful and meaningful way, always recognizing the oath we took, and the code of conduct we live by.

 It is an honor to lead this wonderful organization and I will do so without fear or favor, working diligently to develop and maintain policing best practices in service to this Community. I, along with the Men and Women of the Pasadena Police Department stand poised to serve; and serve we will!
